DAK condoles demise

Srinagar: Doctors Association Kashmir (DAK) Tuesday condoled the sad demise of a doctor from north Kashmir’s Bandipora district who died of COVID-19. DAK expressed deep condolence with the bereaved family and prayed for the departed soul.
President DAK, Dr Suhail Naik said Dr Shabir Ahmad Malik, Medical Officer, RBSK in Block Gurez in Bandipora was infected with coronavirus on July 07.
“However, he died of coronavirus infection today. Dr Shabir was a true COVID warrior. We at DAK pray for eternal peace t0 the departed soul,” he said.
DAK held an emergency meeting in this regard Tuesday afternoon. It expressed deep condolences with the bereaved family and prayed for the departed soul.
The doctor’s body said that the entire medical fraternity is saddened with the loss of the deceased doctor and are shoulder to shoulder with his family and relatives in this hour of grief.
