Thieves decamp with school record in Saboora

PAMPORE: Thieves have stolen school records and vandalized most of the equipment at the government run primary School building in Samboora village of Pampore.
Officials told Kashmir Reader that some miscreants have entered the school office from the roof and vandalised the property including some important documents.
A teacher namely Fayaz Ahmad Dar told Kashmir Reader that during his routine checking of the premises he found the plywood ceiling has also been damaged, besides there was no official record including Admissions Registry, Certificate book which was taken away by the miscreants.
He further said that later he called upon all the concerned teachers and called the concerned ZEO for further action.
While talking to Kashmir Reader, the Zonal Education Officer (ZEO) Pampore Mushtaq Ahmed said, it is unfortunate that some thieves have vandalised the school property, which has caused great inconvenience to our department during the present pandemic
He further requested concerned district administration and other law enforcing agencies to immediately find the culprits and recover the stolen official material.
Meanwhile a police party from police station Pampore has visited the place and registered the FIR under bearing number 54/2020, under section 457, 380 IPC and further investigation has been started, SHO Pampore Manzoor Ahmad said.
