8 persons sent home after recovery from isolation centre Pampore, 119 recoveries so far

PAMPORE: Eight persons were discharged after recovery from COVID -19 on Thursday from an isolation facility in Pampore area of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
Block Medical Officer Pampore Dr. Gulzar Ahmad told Kashmir Reader that 8 persons were sent home from Covid Care centre of Pamposh hospital Pampore after their sample tests returned negative as per SOP’s.
“Since March till date around 119 persons were discharged after recovery from Kongposh hospital Pampore,” he said, adding that 33 covid patients are observed in the facility .
The recovered persons belong to different areas of Pulwama district.
They were admitted in the isolation facility for 15 days back and their samples were sent for testing repeatedly. The health authorities from Pampore Medical block collected 97 samples from high risk groups in the red zone area of Wanpora village and 11samples from home quarantined persons from Kakapora medical block of Pampore.
Meanwhile, sample results of four employees of Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd (HPCL) plant in Pampore returned positive on Thursday.
Samples of seven employees of HPCL were collected three days back at Sub District Hospital (SDH) Pampore.
