Kashmiri student secures first rank in CBSE Class 10th exam in JK

Pampore: A Kashmiri student secured first rank in Jammu and Kashmir in the recently declared CBSE class 10th exam
The student, Nouman Javaid Bhat, son of Javed Ahmad Bhat resident of Naaz Colony, Panthachowk, Srinagar from Delhi Public School Bypass got 98.6% in the examinations.
While talking to Kashmir Reader Nouman said that lock down and curbs affected his studies but he did not lose heart.
“ Initially I could not focus on my studies and I spent most of the time in swimming,” he said, adding that soon after school administration announced that those students living in the vicinity could attend classes which I joined adding that these classes were brief but were of great help.
While giving the exam tip to other students he said that students must not go through lot of books for the same lessons and instead should focus on a single book.
“ I read and solved NCERT and NCERT exemplar books which focussed less on problems and more on concepts,” he said, adding that he recommended the same books to other t students.
He said that in modern era students need to maintain balance between the use of electronic gadgets and study.
“ One has to remain self controlled and draw a line between addiction and spending of leisure time,” he said, adding that he too played many games but maintained the balance.
He thanked his parents and teachers for their support .
