BARAMULLA: A 40 year old woman died after falling from a pine tree in a local forest of Tangmarg area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Thursday morning.
Sources said the women had gone to the forest early morning along with other women to fetch firewood .However, while cutting firewood from a tree, she lost control and fell down resulting in serious injuries. She was shifted to nearby sub district hospital Tangmarg where doctors declared her dead.
The deceased has been identified as Haneefa Bano (40) wife of Abdul Khaliq Malla resident of Wanigam Tangmarg. Tangmarg police register a case and start its investigation.
