BARAMULLA: Sopore police claimed that they arrested an associate of LET militants and arms and ammunition has been also recovered from his possession.
Police said that on Monday, Sopore police, and 177 Bn CRPF in a joint Naka at Sangrama junction arrested one LeT militant associate identified as Sajad Ahmad Khan son of Anaytullah Khan a resident of Dachi area of Uri Baramulla, they said that Incriminating materials including AK ammunitions 55 rounds were recovered from his possession. They said that an FIR number 62/2020 under relevant section of law registered in police station Tarzoo and investigation taken up.
