Two drug peddlers arrested in Sopore

BARAMULLA: Police on Saturday arrested two drug peddlers and recovered large quantity of drugs from their possession in northern Kashmir’s police district Sopore.
In a statement to press, police said that police station Sopore during Naka checking held two drug peddlers Ishfaq Ahmad Khoja son of Ghulam Mohiudin and Mushtaq Ahmad Khoja son of Ghulam Nabi both are residents of Seelo Sopore with 264 Spasmoproxivan Capsules. In this connection a case FIR No. 166/2020 U/S 8/22 of NDPS Act stands registered in police station Sopore and further investigation is going on.
The Sopore Police will continue its war against the drug peddlers,dealers in order to save the young generation from the menace of drug abuse, the statement added.
