PULWAMA: Kashmir Press News(KPN), a local news website, awarded journalists, social activists and other officials of district administration on Thursday for performing exemplary work in containing COVID-19 in district Pulwama.
The award ceremony was organised in a private facility at Pulwama town under the chairmanship of Dr. Irfana, BMO Pulwama.
Mudasir Maqbool, a journalist with KPN, was honoured with the best prize for his outstanding work during COVID-19 Pandemic. He was given a certificate of appreciation and a memento from KPN.Bilal Ahmad Rather, president civil society Pulwama, was honoured as best social worker. He too was given a certificate of appreciation from KPN.
Other journalists, social workers and government officials who were awarded include : Danish Ahmad Dar, Naveed Ahmad Mir, Aqib Nazir Rather, Jamia Yusuf Bhat, Tariq Ahmad Lone, Adfar Hussain, Mohammad Rafi, Shahid ul Islam, Suhail Abdullah and Bilal Shahoori.
