Explosion at workshop kills blacksmith, injures 3 others

AWANTIPORA: A blast in a gas cylinder during welding killed a blacksmith while injuring three others.
According to police 45-year-old Mohammad Ismail Wani son of Abdul Salam resident of Gath Tokina village, a blacksmith by profession died when the cylinder attached with a welding machine blasted resulting in on spot death of Wani and causing injury to others.
SHO Awantipora Madasir Naseer told Kashmir Reader that the workers were working at their workshop Gath Tokina village of Awantipora and the blast caused in the cylinder led to the death of one person and injury to others.
The injured persons identified as Tariq Ahmad Wani (10) son of Mohammad Ismail, resident of Ghat Tokna, Manzoor Ahmad Dar (40) son of Ghulam Mohammad and Farooq Ahmad Dar (42) son of Mohammad Sultan, residents of Ghat Tokna Dar Mohalla Awantipora
