Baramulla: A toddler fell in a local stream in the Wagoora area of Baramulla on Tuesday morning resulting in her death. Local sources said that a girl, Iffat Jan (2) daughter of Mohammad Asif Wani a resident of Wagoora was playing with other children near her home where she slipped and drowned in Nala Khalari.
The family and other people rushed to spot and retrieve her some one kilometre downstream from the accident spot and shift her to nearby hospital, however, doctors declared her dead.
Meanwhile, police post Wagoora register a report in this regard.
