PAMPORE: Idara Auqaf Islamia Pampore is providing food stuff, disinfectants, medicine and other items to destitute in the saffron town.
The drive has been launched couple of days ago during which hundreds of families were benefited. Mohammad Maqbool Shah, General secretary Idara Auqaf Islamia told Kashmir Reader that they provided essential food stuff including rice, cooking oil, sugar, salt and other disinfectants including toilet soap, detergent, dish soap, sanitizer and masks among poor and needy people in the town.
“Masks and hand sanitizers for poor and needy people have been kept available by the Idara and sanitizers at Auqaf’s associated Diagnostic Center in Drangbal,” Shafi said, adding that Auqaf run Diagnostic Center is providing free of cost test facility to poor, and at gives concessions on diagnostics tests also.
He said that they also provide oxygen cylinders for poor patients free of any cost.
The Auqaf, he said, is providing free medicines to poor patients and sponsoring education of around 150 poor students.
