SRINAGAR: In its ongoing efforts to support the administration against COVID fight, Godfrey Phillips India Limited Thursday donated PPE and other protective equipment to IGP Kashmir, Vijay Kumar today for use among the police staff.
In a statement issued here the company said, it has always been forthcoming while contributing to social causes. Only last week, GPI had donated 1 Lakh masks through DC Srinagar.
The consignment handed over to the IGP Vijay Kumar consisted of Face Masks, hand Sanitizers, Gloves, infra-red thermometers, area sanitization chemicals and PPE gowns for use in Police Hospital.
The GPI Team comprised of Jahanzeb Bhat- Manager JKHP, Javid Ahmad- ASM Valley & Ajaz Ahmad Bhat- CFA Valley. IGP Vijay Kumar hailed the gesture and appreciated the contribution being made by GPI in the fight against COVID-19.
