Wildlife Trust of India, NGO distributes ration in Baramulla

SRINAGAR: The Wildlife Trust of India, Department of Wildlife Protection (J&K) and Serenity Trust in order to assist “Awaam” in times of distress due to Coronavirus Pandemic distributed ration to the fringe villages of Lachipora and Limber Wildlife Sanctuary on 29th April.
The ration was distributed among 70 deserving and needy families identified in consultation with the village heads and committee. All necessary protocols and formalities like, maintaining physical distance and keeping local administration in loop were maintained. Pertinently, in collaboration with Department of wildlife Protection (J&K) and serenity Trust, Wildlife Trust of India is working under “Markhor Conservation Project” in Kazinag National Park and Hirpora Wildlife Sanctuary.
Locals have appreciated the assistance given by the NGO during month of Ramzan and have conveyed their sincere thanks and gratitude for this noble gesture.
