Baramulla: Police on Friday booked Reyaz Ahmad Dar of Kralteng Sopore for allegedly issuing forged movement pass amid COVID-19 lockdown in the district.
Accordingly, on the directions of District Magistrate Baramulla, police has registered FIR against him after he was found scanning the original movement passes and subsequently fudging the signatures of DM. The district magistrate has also ordered to conduct full-fledged inquiry into the matter.
Meanwhile, SHO Baramulla said that police acted swiftly and nabbed him and booked in a case ( FIR No 42/2020 section 471 of the IPC).
