SRINAGAR : In a bid to boost the morale of frontl ine workers, Srinagar Municipal Corporation (SMC) celebrated Frontl ine Workers Day, here on Friday. The day was celebrated by felicitating the Safai Karamcharis with garlands and by distributing sweets among them. The felicitation ceremonies were held in all wards of SMC. Appreciating the efforts of front l ine workers during the COVID-19 pandemic, Commissioner SMC, Gazanfar Ali cal led the front l ine workers unsung heroes and said their work needs appreciation and respect . He said that the Frontl ine Workers Day wi l l be a regular feature from now on, and wi l l be celebrated every year.
