PAMPORE: A swift action by administration and health officials who conducted rapid antibody tests to the immediate contacts of a ‘suspected’ positive Covid-19, assured their safe return home after their tests came negative. One of the persons who in chandhara village had attended the Nizzamuddin congregation in Delhi and even carried the 14 day quarantine at a hospital in Pampore was again assessed for the symptoms along with his family with all of them turning negative for the virus. A dditional Deputy Commissioner Zaffar Ahmad Shawl told Kashmir Reader that rapid antibody tests were conducted on suspected patients and their immediate contacts which showed signs of being weakly positive We immediately swung into action and isolated the families/immediate contacts; he said adding that they repeated the tests and further screening has revealed they were all fine. He said that the families were returning to their homes tomorrow. Panic had gripped in Pampore areas after a body screening test of a person had diagnosed positive.
