Pulwama: District Magistrate Pulwama Raghav Langer on Friday said that administration has intensified restrictions in Covid- 19 red zones to contain the spread of virus. “We are strictly adhering to guidelines in the areas declared as red zones in the district. Surveillance in red zones is under completion and all the contacts have been traced. The purpose is to contain the spread of community transmission by enforcing restrictions already imposed under the Disaster Management Act, 2005,” he said. Khaigam, Sangerwani, Abhama of Tehsil Rajpora and Gudoora, Chandgam, Pinglena and Parigam of Tehsil Pulwama have been declared red zones.
