Helpline setup for farmers’ assistance during lockdown

SRINAGAR: Department of Agriculture, Kashmir Sunday launched 24×7 helpline to assist farmers during lockdown. “The main objective of setting up the helpline is to answer the queries regarding different field operations and agricultural activities to the callers and to make sure that every farmer and grower can access credible and accurate information regarding different field crops and other agriculture activities on the ground,” department said in a statement.
