Baramulla: An elderly man killed after he was hit by a car in Sopore town of Baramulla district on Monday morning. Sources said that a 60-years old man identified as Mohammad Sadiq of Sidiq Colony Sopore was walking along Sopore bypass on Monday morning when he was hit by a car resulting in his on spot death, while the driver of the vehicle managed to escape from the spot. Police have registered a hit-and-run case and started investigation.
