Baramulla: Police on Tuesday claimed that they have busted a militant hideout along the line of control in Kupwara and recovered large quantity of arms and ammunition. Sources in the police said that after receiving an information, army’s 6RR, and police busted a militant hideout in Keran sector along the LoC on Tuesday morning. They said that 1 AK47 rifle, 1 AK56 rifle, 6 magazines including 180 rounds, 1 pistol along with a magazine and other material was seized by the joint team of forces from the hideout. Police has registered a case and further search in the area is still on.
