Kashmiri students stuck at Indo-Bangla border

Srinagar: Nearly 100 Kashmiri students are stranded at Benapole check post, near India-Bangladesh border after India sealed its borders with the neighbouring countries due to Coronavirus.
The students left their respective colleges on Monday to return to their native places after Bangladesh decided to lockdown all educational institutions following the Coronavirus threat.
“We have been stranded since today morning as India sealed all its borders with neighbouring countries amid Coronavirus scare,” students said.
They said they need to cross-over and reach the valley as their families are in huge distress.
“We have approached the Indian High Commission in Bangladesh to help us but he is yet to respond,” one of the stranded students Abid Hussain told Kashmir Reader.
