BANDIPORA: District Development Commissioner, Bandipora Shahbaz Ahmad Mirza Sunday directed officers of Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs (FCS&CA) to ensure hassle free distribution of ration amid restrictions and also constituted teams for effective monitoring of ration distribution. DC Bandipora appealed the people to avoid gatherings in view of the outbreak of Coronovirus as preventive measures to contain the spread of the virus. He said the concerned Storekeepers and Fair Price Shop Dealers have been already directed to remain present at Sale Outlets on alternate days. He directed the officers of FCS&CA to ensure monthly ration distribution as per allotted scale on routine basis. Mirza appealed the general public not to be panic and maintain calm as sufficient stocks of foodgrains are available and will be made available in future as well. The DC Bandipora also directed to constitute a team of officers/ officials of FCS&CA Department for effective monitoring of Ration Distribution, LPG & Petroleum Products within the concerned area and also publicized their mobile numbers. People have been asked to contact them in case of exigencies.
