HAJIN: Municipal Council Hajin on Wednesday sprayed disinfectants in hospitals, bus stands, government offices in wake of coronavirus scare. The drive was carried under the supervision of Chairman Municipal Council Hajin Irshad Ahmad, who was accompanied by Executive Officer Firdous Ahmed, SDPO Hajin Mubbashir Ahmed, and Tehsildar Hajin Naveed Ahmed, besides other councillors. During the drive, all the hospital, police station and posts, Mosques, shrines and the wards of the block were sprayed with disinfectants. Irshad Ahmad while speaking during awareness programme said that the Council is taking all the measures to prevent the spread of coronavirus in the town . He said meetings of the councils are being conducted on regular basis to take the stock of the status of preparedness to stop the spread of coronavirus and all the necessary preventive steps are being taken to aware the people about keeping themselves safe from the infection. “We will continue our awareness drive,” he added.
