PAMPORE: Health department on Saturday held at meeting with civil society members and residents from various villages at Sub District Hospital Pampore. The meeting was attended by Director Finance Health and Medical education, Rafiq Ahmad , Chief Medical officer Pulwama, Dr Hassina Mir, Block Medical officer Pampore Dr Arshid Hassan Sidquie and Drug Inspector Tasaduq Hussain, besides other officials and civilian representatives. Rafiq Ahmad told Kashmir Reader that the meeting was held to seek people’s participation in augmenting the work culture and improve the areas where we need their support. Mohammad Yusuf Malik, a civil society member said that they raised the issue of vacant posts of doctors at Sub District Hospital Pampore. “We also sought replacement of transferred doctors,” he said, adding that they were assured by authorities that a letter has been moved before higher offices to redress it as soon as possible.
