BBA students stage protest, demand re-exam

SRINAGAR: The 6th-semester students of Bachelors of Business administration (BBA) of Kashmir University on Tuesday held a protest here demanding re-examination of “Materials Management” paper which was held on 2nd February and which according to the students was out of syllabus.
Scores of students from Women’s College Naw Kadal assembled here in Press Enclave holding placards and banners in their hands which read’s “Re-examination of Materials Management”, “5 years in Graduation but still incomplete”, “We demand for re-exam batch-2016” and “We want Justice”.
“We are demanding the re-examination of a paper as soon as possible,” they said.
Iram, one of the protesting student of 6th semester of Batch 2016, said that the paper was out of syllabus. “Even our college has sent a representation regard this issue, but we have not received any response from the university,” Iram said.
“We request the controller examinations of Kashmir University to conduct the re-examination of the paper . The paper should be revived by experts. Non-serious attitude of university is further delaying our degree,” said another protesting student.
