Six houses damaged in Kreeri due to land subsidence

BARAMULLA: Six houses have suffered damage in Kreeri area after land subsidence in the area.
The locals said that soon after weather improved across the Kashmir and snow is melting, the land subsidence has become a threat created in several areas of Kandi Baramulla.
On Monday at least six residential houses damaged in Peer Mohla, Kreeri in Baramulla when a patch of land subsidence occurred.
Locals said that residential house of Syeed Abdul Hamid Bukhari was severely damaged and the family had to take shelter at their nearby relatives. They said that six other houses also damaged partially but the families neither have nor shifted yet.
The locals appealed the authorities to visit the area and take necessary action for the safety of people.
