2 detained youth trying to cross LoC handed over to families

BARAMULLA: Police on Saturday handed over two youth to their families who were arrested while trying to cross LoC.
SSP Baramulla Abdul Qayoom on Saturday handed over both the youth to their families after all legal formalities. While talking to media, SSP Baramulla said that both the boys hailingfrom south Kashmir district were intercepted by a team of forces in Uri when were on way to LoC to cross it. He said that soon after the arrest both confessed that they were travelling to cross the LoC.
He said on humanitarian grounds, both the boys were handed over to their families after proper counselling.
Police not disclose their name and address.
Earlier, five youths of different villages of south Kashmir were arrested in Uri sector and laterwere handed over to their families after proper counselling.
