KCCI urges admin to release jailed leaders

SRINAGAR: Kashmir Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) on Saturday urged the administration to release of members of the civil society, business community, eminent lawyers, political, religious leaders and youths kept under preventive detention since the first week of August, 2019.
The spokesperson in a statement stated that in the interaction with the Lt Governor Murmu on the 2nd of January, 2020, representatives of the business fraternity had unanimously urged for the release of all detained persons and had received positive assurances in this regard.
