Srinagar: The meteorological department (MeT) on Friday predicted dry weather from Saturday after incessant rains lashed Kashmir valley for last two days.
“We will see gradual improvement in weather from Friday evening,” said Met Director Sonam Lotus.
He said that complete dry weather is expected from November 23 to November 25 as weather will change gradually in Jammu and Kashmir from Friday evening.
Lotus said that another spell of rain was expected from November 26.
According to Traffic Control Unit, there was no major disruption in the road connectivity on Srinagar-Jammu highway due to rains.
“The highway was open for one-way traffic throughout the day even as no landslide was triggered by rains in Jammu and Kashmir,” said a senior traffic police official.
He said that all vehicles including light motor vehicles and heavy motor vehicles would proceed from Srinagar towards Jammu on Saturday.
