SRINAGAR: The Assistant Engineer (AE) aspirants have appealed tothe Lt Governor and Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission (JKPSC) to postpone their written examination scheduled in December.
A delegation of aspirants told Kashmir Reader that they have not prepared for the exams, due to the internet and coaching centres shutdown in Kashmir in wake of revocation of special status to JK.
“We could not prepare on time due to internet blockade and non-availability of study material,” Hadika, an aspirant said.
The delegation said that appearing for the exams in the month of December would benefit the aspirants of Jammu division only.
“Aspirants from Jammu division got sufficient time and study material for the preparations, while as we neither got time nor study material,” they said.
