SRINAGAR: Two persons including a woman were apprehended by a joint team of police and army near LoC with six kilograms of brown sugar and some ammunition, police said on Tuesday.
They said that a man and women were caught in Dulanja area in Uri with the contraband substance and some 900 bullets.
SSP Baramulla Abdul Quyoom told Kashmri Reader that the duo has been arrested and will face charges.
He added that their identity has not been disclosed as further investigation in this case is in progress.
