SRINAGAR: National Conference on Monday said that there is no question of starting any political activity till all the political detainees are released and cellular connectivity restored.
“The party will never ignore the wishes and aspirations of people of Jammu and Kashmir,” the spokesperson said in a statement.
He said that the party will not restart its political activity till all jailed political leaders get released and cellular connectivity get restored.
As per statement, six-member delegation of party has met Dr Farooq Abdullah and Omar Abdullah. During the meet, imprisoned Abdullah’s cleared before the delegation that till those political leaders
and trade leaders who have been imprisoned falsely are not released, party will not restart its political activity.
“During the meet, it was impressed upon that those detained in and outside jails including minors should be released without any further delay,” the statement added.
Abdullah during the meet has said, “NC being a first and key people’s party, it will never ignore the wishes and aspirations of people of Jammu and Kashmir.”
Farooq has urged the government of India to revoke those decisions taken
