Srinagar: In view of the prevailing situation, authorities have decided to close several schools and colleges in various Kashmir districts on Saturday.

As per officials classwork in all higher secondary schools and colleges will remain suspended in Srinagar district tomorrow while as schools from primary to high school level will function normally.

Meanwhile, in Shopian and Pulwama all educational institutions will remain closed tomorrow, district officials said.

All higher secondary schools and colleges in Baramulla will remain closed tomorrow., district administration said, however, schools from primary to high school level will remain open.

Meanwhile, in view of concerns expressed by students from various parts of Kashmir Valley, all Kashmir University examinations scheduled to be held on April 7, 2018 (Saturday) are postponed, university spokesman said.

He said that the fresh dates for the deferred examinations shall be notified separately, later.
