Pulwama: Government forces on Friday evening started a Cordon and Search Operation in Sirnoo village of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district.

Official sources said that the search operation was launched following specific inputs about the presence of militants in the area.

Meanwhile, sources said that as the forces were conducting searches, youth came out and started pelting stones on the forces which lead to clashes between the forces and youth.

Search operation amid clashes was going on when the last reports came in.
