Srinagar: Barely hours after assuming the additional charge of Finance Minister, Altaf Bukhari on Tuesday ordered the deferment of Pay and Accounts Office (PAO) System till March 2018.

According to the sources, the decision was taken after various stakeholders had requested the new finance minister to review the government decision of implementation of the PAO system, as there were difficulties in switching over to the system.
