Srinagar: A 4. 5 magnitude earthquake hit Jammu and Kashmir on Saturday, a Meteorological Department official said.
The quake, epicenter at 35.7 degree North Latitude and 76.1 degree East Longitude with a depth of 10 km, shook the region at 08:51 hrs, the official said.
No loss of life or damage to property has been reported so far.
