Srinagar: The J&K Educational Conclave 2026, jointly organized by the Private Schools’ Association Jammu & Kashmir (PSAJK) and Infonet Technologies, concluded successfully at Golden Leaf, Hyderpora, Srinagar, with the participation of school leaders, educationists, academicians, and industry partners from across the country.
The conclave was graced by Mr. Farooq Ahmad Shah, MLA Tangmarg, as the Chief Guest, while Mr. Naseer Ahmad Wani, Director School Education Kashmir, and Prof. Mushtaq Ahmad Siddiqi, Former Vice Chancellor, Islamic University of Science & Technology (IUST), Awantipora, attended as Guests of Honour.
The conclave served as a vibrant platform for deliberations on the future of education, technological transformation, school leadership, teacher empowerment, and holistic student development.
– Dr. Ameeta Mulla Wattal, renowned educationist, delivered the inaugural keynote on “From Growth Mindset to Conscious Learning,” stressing that education must move beyond examination-oriented practices and nurture empathy, critical thinking, creativity, and lifelong learning.
– Ms. Rouble Nagi spoke on “From Infrastructure to Inspiration – What Schools in India Truly Need,” observing that the true strength of a school lies in inspiring teachers, motivated learners, and inclusive educational environments.
– Dr. Manjula Pooja Shroff addressed “The AI Classroom: What Will Teachers Do That Machines Never Can?” emphasizing that Artificial Intelligence will never replace compassionate teachers and should be viewed as a powerful partner that enhances teaching.
– Dr. Kannan Gireesh, CEO, LiveLife Education, highlighted the importance of mental wellbeing among school leaders, advocating regular wellness programmes and stress management systems.
– Mr. Shreeyaan Daga, Founder of OLL, delivered the concluding keynote, “What If I Became the Principal of Your School Tomorrow?” encouraging school heads to reimagine learning spaces by promoting innovation, student agency, and entrepreneurial thinking.
Addressing the conclave, MLA Tangmarg Farooq Ahmad Shah appreciated the initiative and emphasized that quality education, innovation, and collaborative partnerships are essential for shaping the future of Jammu and Kashmir. Director School Education Kashmir Naseer Ahmad Wani highlighted the importance of synergy between the government and private school sectors. Former VC IUST Prof. Mushtaq Ahmad Siddiqi underscored the importance of academic excellence, research-oriented learning, and leadership development.
Dr. Baba Nazrul Islam, President of PSAJK, reaffirmed the Association’s commitment to bringing world-class educational practices to Jammu and Kashmir, stating that collaboration, innovation, teacher capacity building, and responsible use of technology will define the next phase of educational transformation in the Union Territory.
The conclave concluded with a certificate distribution ceremony and a vote of thanks, with participants expressing appreciation for the rich academic deliberations and practical insights shared throughout the day.
