Srinagar: Two minor boys were injured in an explosion in Anantnag district of Jammu and Kashmir today, police said.
“Liyakat Khan (14) and Ishfaq Khan (12) — were injured when they were fiddling with some suspicious object which exploded near Panchayat Mohalla, Rakh-e-Brah, in Anantnag district,” a police spokesperson said.
He said the injured boys were shifted to a hospital in Srinagar for treatment.
“Their condition is said to be stable. Police is investigating the cause of explosion,” the spokesperson said.
