Sopore: A free distribution of multivitamin, vitamins and de-worming programme was Tuesday held here at Government Girls High School Arampoora Sopore.
The program was organised by world health improvement program rehabilitation organization under the supervision of Block Medical Officer (BMO) Sopore, Dr Sami.
Medical Store Keeper of SDH Sopore, Fayaz Ahmad inaugurated the function.
During the programme, several pregnant women and adolescent children and 0.5 years child got vitamin doses.
The school head Mrs Night speaking on the occasion, said that “we are very happy and thankful to health department for conducting such kind of social functions in the society despite the critical situation on ground.”
On the occasion, the chief guest was Block Medical Officer Sopore Dr Sami while Mrs Night and other dignitaries were also present.
