NC lambasts PDP over ‘nepotism’, demand court monitored judicial probe

Srinagar: The opposition National Conference (NC) today lambasted the ruling People’s Democratic Party (PDP) over the recent controversial recruitment of a relative of Chief Minister in Khadi village Industries Board.

Addressing a press conference here in Srinagar, the National conference spokesman said that youth of the J&K are being pushed to the walls by the government.

“For the youth of J&K there is SRO 202 and for PDP there is SRO 420. If anybody needs to go to jail even if it is somebody from J&K CM’s family, let it be..,” NC said.

“It is alleged that all certificates of (Aroot Madni, J&K CM’s cousin are fake) this is why when probe was ordered he decided to resign as truth may come out” National Conference spokesman said.

The NC alleged that PDP workers have been appointed in J&K Bank and loans are extended to few blue eyed families only.

“Eighty people have been recruited in Waqf Board since March 2015 and no rules have been followed. A 60-year-old man has been appointed at Baba Reshi shrine without any process,” NC alleged.

The NC demanded that court monitored judicial probe against J&K CM Mehbooba Mufti for ‘controversial appointments’ in different departments.
