Srinagar: Flight operations were disrupted for a brief period at Srinagar Airport after a fire incident occurred near Air Traffic Control (ATC), of the airport.
The fire tenders of Air force rushed to the spot and doused the flames.
“Small fire near IAF-ATC has taken place, now under control, slight disruption in flight movements,” Srinagar Airport Authority said in a Tweet.
Meanwhile, the fire was brought under control and flight operations were resumed.
However, the cause of the fire could not be ascertained.
