Srinagar: Flight operations were disrupted for a brief period at Srinagar Airport after a fire incident occurred near Air Traffic Control (ATC), of the airport.
The fire tenders of Airforce rushed to the spot and doused the flames.
“Small fire near IAF ATC has taken place, now under control, slight disruption in flight movements,” Srinagar Airport Authority said in a Tweet.
Meanwhile, the fire was brought under control and flight operations were resumed.
However, the cause of the fire could not be ascertained.
