Srinagar: Train service for tomorrow has been suspended from Srinagar to Banihal section due to law and order situation in south Kashmir districts while as trains from Srinagar to Baramulla will run as per scheduled time table, authorities said.

The decision as per the authorities has been taken in wake of the security scenario that has developed after the killing of a teenager and two militants in Shopian district today.

Pertinently, two militants were killed in a gunfight with government forces in Chaigund village of Shopian district and in the subsequent clashes a teenager was killed after forces fired on protesters.

Two teenage girls were also injured during the clashes.

Following the killings, internet services have also been snapped in south Kashmir areas.
