Shopian: Cordon and search operation has been started  by government forces at Kashew village of Chitragam tehsil in South Kashmir’s Shopian district.

Official sources said that 3 RR, 14th BN CRPF and SOG Zainapora started the search operation after receiving inputs about the presence of militants in the area.

Sources said that large number of forces have been deployed in the area and door to door search operation is going on.
