Anantnag: While the speculations are on rife that the MoS Farooq Ahmad Indrabi will be asked to step down as a Minister, the authorities have postponed the inaugural function of Government Higher Secondary School (GHSS), Verinag.

The inaugural function of GHSS Verinag was earlier scheduled to be held with Education Minister, Syed Altaf Bukhari and MOS Syed Farooq Ahmad Indrabi marking their presence in the event.

Sources said that while the reshuffle in the cabinet is on cards, the function has been postponed.

Earlier, after 15 year long controversy with the land owner of GHSS, the work on the GHSS Verinag was delayed.

The issue with the land owner was recently sorted out and the authorities proposed to inaugurate the much-awaited school building this month.
