Money laundering case:Patiala Court extends remand of 10 Kashmiri prisoners

Srinagar: The Patiala court on Friday extended the remand of ten Kashmiri prisoners including seven Hurriyat leaders by 28 more days.

The family members of one among the Hurriyat leaders told KNS from Delhi that the seven Hurriyat leaders including Nayeem Ahmad Khan, Altaf Shah, Ayaz Akbar, Peer Saif-ul-llah, Mehraj-ud-din Kalwal, Shahid-ul-Islam and Farooq Ahmad Dar alias Bitta Karati and a renowned businessman, Zahoor Watali, photojournalist, Kamran Yousuf and Javaid Ahmad appeared in hearing via video conference.

“Patiala house court New Delhi extended their remand till Jan 12, 2018,” he informed. 

Pertinently, the seven Hurriyat leaders were arrested by National Investigation Agency (NIA) on August 25, 2017, over their alleged involvement in money laundering case.
