Traffic on Srinagar-Jammu Highway partially restored

Srinagar: Traffic on Srinagar-Jammu National highway was partially restored on Thursday, an official of traffic said.

“Traffic will be allowed to move from Jammu to Srinagar. Keeping the road conditions in view, no vehicle will be allowed to move in the opposite direction today,” he said.

Pertinently traffic on the Srinagar-Jammu National highway, connecting the Kashmir Valley with the rest of the country, remained closed for the third day on Wednesday leaving hundreds of vehicles stranded on the road.

Meanwhile, the historic Mughal road and highway, linking Ladakh with Kashmir remained closed.
