Pulwama: Government forces on Wednesday night started  a Cordon and Search Operation (CASO) in Shankarpora Murran area of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district.

Official sources said that 55 Rashtriya Rifles  182 and 183 bn CRPF  and Special Operation Group Pulwana launched a joint search operation  after receiving inputs about the presence of militants in the area.

Local sources said that large number of forces have been deployed in the area and door to door search operation was  going on when the last reports came in.
