Srinagar: Cordon and search operation has been started by government forces in Churat village of Qazigund area in South Kashmirs Kulgam district.

Official sources said that SOG Kulgam and 1RR of army started the search operation after receiving inputs about the presence of militants in the area.

Heavy deployment of forces has been made in the area and search operation was going on when the last reports came in.
