Pattan: A man was killed in a hit and run accident at Pallahan area of Pattan in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on late Friday evening.

According to reports a speedy four wheeler vehicle hit a man and injured him critically at Pallahan on Friday evening and fled from the spot.

The injured was rushed to Sub District Hospital Pattan where he succumbed to his injuries later. 

Meanwhile Pattan Police confirmed the incident and identified deceased as Ghulam Mahiu-din Yatoo son of Mohammad Ismail Yatoo resident of Raypora Palhallan, they added that a case has been registered in this regard and further investigation has been started.
